The Dark-Eyed Daughters of Faith
Lydia Davis believed in finding "the beauty of a very simple sentence when someone is telling me a dream" and in a letter to a friend, Mallarmé expressed a desire “to paint, (with words) not the thing, but the effect which it produces.” In this work, which is neither a poem nor prose, I look to rely on dissonant collocation to realise a new understanding and context for each "found" sentence. You, the wreader, will collaborate with me in establishing that a unique to you order exists in the intimacy of chaos as we experiment with possibilities.
